If you like beach activities we have some of the best in the world - Llandwyn, Newborough, Aberfraw, Rhosneigr are all a short drive or cycle and have very different characteristics. Of course, Anglesey is surrounded by beaches and you can often follow the sun!

Anglesey's relative isolation, microclimate and other features make for a diverse and often unusual range of flora and fauna. Red squirrels may be seen across the island. Wetland habitats are home to a huge variety of birds and insects. On the shores seals, porpoises and puffins are commonly sighted.

In addition to beach activities, there are a range of attractions suited to the odd overcast or rainy day. The Anglesey Sea Zoo is just a five minute drive from the campsite. Horse riding facilities are even closer. Plas Newydd, home of the Marquess of Anglesey in an idyllic setting on the Menai straights boasts many artistic, architectural and botanical wonders.
